Dear Parents and Carers
It’s been another busy week in school.
On Monday our Year 8 students were off timetable to take part in a range of workshops making them aware of the appalling effects of cannabis and the associated risks of drug use, knife crime, child sexual exploitation and the very dangerous county lines gangs. These are hard hitting topics and very relevant to Warwick and Leamington. It is essential our children are well equipped to protect themselves from these threats.
On Tuesday and Thursday our Year 10s took part in an Enterprise Day designed to develop some essential workplace skills. On Wednesday they had the opportunity to explore post-16 choices, looking at the range of A level subjects and discussing different career options with employers and apprenticeship providers.
And finally, Thursday evening was our Year 11 prom. The students looked amazing, were great company and have grown up so much in the last few weeks. In fact, the 5 years they have spent with us have passed in a blink of an eye. We enjoyed seeing them and we are greatly looking forward to results day when they will prove just how successful they are.
