33 ½ hours, per week, term time plus 5 training days – £18,678 – £19,310 p.a. (£23,500 – £24,294 p.a. pro-rata)
Working in a supportive role in a caring environment, you will support the personal, educational and social development of a student on a one to one basis. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the achievement of a young person (Year 8 from September 2024) who needs additional personal care support and understanding.
You will be part of a large and supportive team of TAs in the Learning, Intervention and Nurture Centre (The LINC) which has a great reputation for supporting students with special educational needs, disabilities, anxiety, learning barriers and multiple and complex needs. The LINC enables students to access a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum and to be fully included in all aspects of school life and will support the school’s vision of ‘no child left behind.’
We are ideally looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated applicants with experience of working with young people (voluntary or paid), preferably in a school environment, who are passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will need a positive and flexible approach to work.
