Honor from Year 12 gives us an insight into Question Time last Sunday
“I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to appear on BBC Question time. It provided a unique insight into the minds of the political elite in this country. I asked a question on the ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights): Who will hold the government to account if we leave the ECHR, whether that be to only a small or significant extent. The conservative MP for Redditch did not answer my question and instead talked around the issue. Despite this I received positive feedback from all members of the crowd and from other members of the panel.
I had other questions which I was meant to ask, that were selected from my application by the editor but unfortunately, I didn’t get the opportunity.
I am thankful for MR Sykes who encouraged us to apply to the show as it was a once in a lifetime experience.”
Well done Honor, what a fantastic experience!
