Rob Langley-Swain from the charitable company Make Good Grow was Year 12’s guest speaker this week for Speaker Week. He took our young people on a whistle-stop tour of his career to date and was truly inspirational for our Sixth Formers. From being a runner for disco divas to running his own company, he clearly shared the secret to his success and showed how a career can pan out over the years. Perseverance, hard work and building effective relationships from the word go were the take home messages along with a questionable playlist.
Year 12 were very grateful for Rob’s insights and his living proof of success. Many thanks, Rob – your company says it all, you do ‘make good grow’!
It is so important to hear real stories from real people, so if you think you’d like to join us and give a talk, whether it be about a passion, a career or an interest, please contact Mrs J Millington on [email protected].
