Healthcare charity, Kissing It Better (KiB), which provides volunteering opportunities for our Sixth Form, is looking for adult volunteers to join its expanding team. KiB works to alleviate the loneliness of old age by bringing the generations together. Volunteers are needed to help with projects at local hospitals and care homes in Warwick and Leamington. Depending on parent/carer interests, this could involve helping with fundraising for its special projects, making things for goody bags, working with the team behind the scenes or helping supervise small groups of children and students when on hospital ward and care home visits. KIB is also keen to hear from any singers or musicians. Full training is provided as are DBS checks and ongoing support. Please contact [email protected] or Jill on [email protected] for more information.
LATEST: KiB, which has run volunteering programmes for Warwickshire schools and colleges since 2010, has just been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in South Warwickshire.
