This week 150 of our Year 9, 10 and 11 students went to see A Christmas Carol at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in Stratford.
For many it was to support the study of their GCSE set texts but for all it was a lovely, festive night out at the theatre. As always, it was a fantastic show with lots of famous faces on stage, beautiful RSC costumes, scenery and lots of snow!
A highlight of the show was the opportunity to see our very own Geneva from Year 7 on the stage. A very proud moment supporting one of our talented students!
Thank you to the staff volunteers who accompanied the students on the trip.
There are plenty more fun and educational trips and visits planned in English this year: An Inspector Calls, Poetry Live, Hamlet, The Tempest and more…!
