Leamington’s Army Surplus shop has temporarily opened an empty warehouse for donations for Ukraine. Currently, the organisers are arranging trips to Europe with essential supplies and need the following:
- Bandages, plasters, syringes, pain killers, disinfectants and dressings, car first aid kits;
- Batteries, torches, electricity generators, power banks, electric kettles, plastic cups, plates, cutlery, rubbish bags, cleaning products;
- Long life foods such as rice, pasta, flour, tinned items;
- Sleeping bags, sleeping mats, thermal blankets;
- Toiletries (toothpastes & toothbrushes, liquid soaps, shampoos, toilet paper, paper towels, sanitary items, nappies).
The store on Harbury Lane, CV33 9SA is staffed by volunteers between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday. There are temporary traffic lights just outside the collection point. Drive in and the collection hangar is on the right.
Please note there is no requirement for duvets, blankets, bedding, or clothes at this point.
