On Tuesday Year 8 students had a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) event hosted by the Smallpeice Trust. During the day students learned what it’s like to be an engineer by engineering an electric train. Working in groups they had a fabulous time designing, building, testing, racing and presenting their creations to the rest of the group.
