The Sixth Form Charity Committee held a fundraising day last month for Jeans for Genes.
There was a whole school cake sale at break and lunch and Years 12 and 13 held a non-uniform day at the same time when everyone wore jeans.
Jeans for Genes is a charity which raises awareness for genetic disorders and tries to educate on the daily challenges faced by those affected.
According to Anaya P, who is Chair of the Sixth Form Charity Committee, nearly £280 was raised for the cause and more events are planned throughout the year for charities such as Children in Need and Comic Relief.
