Last week, Year 12 and 13 Psychology students had the opportunity to listen to a famous US psychologist as part of an on-line conference.
Philip Zimbardo is known for the Stanford Prison Study and Myton School students cover this as part of their Social Influence topic.
According to Psychology Lead, Miss Clark, it was fascinating to hear about the Study from Zimbardo himself: “He gave some nuggets of information not found in any of our textbooks!” she said.
“Another highlight of the conference was hearing about Zimbardo’s Heroic Imagination Project – the students found this incredibly interesting. The project’s vision ‘We believe ordinary people can do extraordinary things’ gave us all something to ponder,” she added.
