Mr Apostol, former Head of Oken House, has a new role in school that we wanted to share with you. He is now leading on the personal and character development of students, a role that involves a range of initiatives including:

• developing student leadership
• establishing a comprehensive programme of activities beyond the classroom, for example the 50 Things Challenge, volunteering, forest schools, etc
• supporting our various student-led groups and activities such as Eco group, HERO, etc
• setting up an annual work experience programme

Mr Apostol says of his new role: “I have huge plans to help all students at the school truly become the best versions of themselves and take steps towards their dreams.”
