Thank you to PC Lund and PSCO Williams who delivered workshops this week to the rest of our Year 10 students on misogyny and sexual offending. Through an immersive virtual reality (VR) experience students heard authentic, real-life conversations between young women discussing their experiences of misogynistic, and often criminal behaviour, and how this has impacted on their lives.
Our students heard how prevalent behaviour such as catcalling, cyber bullying and objectification still is in our society, and gave them a real understanding of how such behaviour can have serious long term effects on women.
