Before Easter, Mrs Foster set her Year 9 Business Studies class a homework which was to come up with a business idea. One of the students, Mia, decided to start a card making business and designed some prototype products. When the lockdown started she decided to turn her idea into a fundraiser for NHS charities.
She’s now made and sold over 100 cards and raised over £500 for NHS Charities Together. If you’d like to order a ‘made in isolation’ card, you can do it on Mia’s Instagram page made_in_isolation and all donations are on her justgiving page.
Mia has also had her story published in the local paper: Warwick teen gets creative to help those in isolation and NHS staff
