As the term ends and for me personally my time at Myton School draws to a close, I look back over my 30 years here at the school with a sense of pride and joy at the many students, staff and parents past and present that I have had the pleasure to work alongside.
To have an opportunity to shape and support young people to go forward in life to realise their dreams and ambitions is a huge reward and I feel honoured to have had the opportunity to have an input, in a profession that I love. The challenges have been many during my time at the school and the changes vast, but the successes acted as catalysts for moving me forward in my career at the school. The countless fond memories I have gathered over the years will remain with me for the rest of my life.
Myton School remains at the heart of our local community here in Warwick, and it beats on, reliable, steadfast and strong. My passion about the future of education and for us as a school, both in respect of the changing landscape of education but also for the landscape changes to our premises, heralds an exciting chapter for the school, in which I am sure will see it continue to evolve and flourish.
Finally, a heartfelt thanks to everyone for all the support I have received personally, it has been wonderful to be part of the school and I hope to remain part of the Myton School family going forward, in whatever the future has in store for me.
