The University of Warwick is running a competition for Years 11 and 12 students on global sustainable development.
Entrants must answer one of the following questions, in the form of an essay, video, photos or artistic exploration with commentary:
- What do you think are the biggest sustainable development challenges raised by the current cost of living crisis?
- What is the main challenge to sustainable development in your local area?
- The president of the UN Economic and Social Council recently said that it was imperative to put people first, if the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are to be realized by the 2030 deadline. Do you agree?
Students can enter the competition as individuals or as a group, and will need the permission and support of a teacher to enter.
More details of the competition can be found here and entries must be submitted before midnight on Friday 28 April 2023.
