Year 12 and 13 Computing students visited The National Museum of Computing this week to explore both old and modern-day computers and to gain a deeper understanding of the evolution of technology.
They heard about the life and work of Alan Turing (the founder of modern computing), delving into his pioneering contributions to computing and his role in breaking the Enigma code during World War II. It was a fascinating experience that helped students connect historical milestones with the technology they use today, enriching their understanding of the subject.
