Dear Parents and Carers
It was our Year 8 Options Evening this week, which marks the start of an exciting time for Year 8 students. They can start to think about which subjects they want to continue studying, decided by their strengths, interests and which future path they think they might like to follow. Thank you to all the students and parents/carers who came along. Hopefully you received the information needed to inform choices at this stage, but if you do have any more options-related questions you can send these to [email protected].
Looking to the future was also on the agenda this week for our Year 10 to 13 students who attended our annual Careers and Apprenticeship Fair. We had over 40 representatives from universities, apprenticeship providers, colleges and local businesses including utility and transport companies, hospitality, the Police, Army, and Royal Navy. Thank you to everyone who attended, and to all the exhibitors. You can contact our Careers Advisor Mrs Wedgbrow ([email protected]) if you need any further information about careers or apprenticeships.
Best wishes
Andy Perry
