Dear Parents and Carers
Our musical production of Little Shop of Horrors has been running this week. It’s a great production and a huge thanks to all the kids and staff involved in putting this on. We have live music, lots of singing and I always enjoy watching a student who I know to be really polite, some might even say quite shy, playing a blood thirsty, drug fuelled maniac – well at least until they feed them to the plant. The play has quite a few Year 12s in it, as does the band, and in some cases we have watched them in every show for the last 6 years as they grow up and evolve their skills, which is lovely to see. There will be another show next year but quite often the Year 13s steer clear with all their other pressures so this may be the last hurrah for some of them. If so, thanks for representing Myton so beautifully in this show and in all the others you have been a part of, and thanks to all the younger students in the production, we’ll look forward to seeing you again in the next few years.
Best wishes
Andy Perry
