Dear Parents and Carers
This half term saw the welcome return of our skiing trip, this time to Les Orres in the French Alps. 81 of our students spent their days on the slopes, practising parallel skiing, jumps and tricks, and enjoyed evenings playing games and having quizzes, topped off with an awards ceremony celebrating the highlights of the trip. A truly fantastic time was had by all, and it is wonderful that trips like this can now be enjoyed again, with the benefits and memories that they bring. Our traditional Year 9 surfing trip to Newquay is also fast approaching. Four days spent on the beach and trying out water sports in the sun sounds pretty good to me. Hard to imagine right now when we have snow forecast for next week.
As always, a huge thank you to the staff who help organise and facilitate these trips and help make them such memorable experiences for all.
Best wishes
