Dear Parents and Carers
We are focusing on kindness in school this month, with lots of activities for students to choose from that promote the culture of ‘paying it forward’ and the message that simple acts of kindness can improve mental health and make someone’s day, or even life, better. The kindness and generosity of our students and families is evident from the £1500 we raised from our recent Children in Need non-uniform day and bake sale (donations all the more appreciated knowing the financial difficulties faced by families in the current climate, and at this time of the year). Next Friday we are holding another charity event, Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children. I’ll be dusting off my jumper that gets worn once a year. Again, any donations will be very gratefully received.
“No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted” (Aesop).
Best wishes
