Dear Parents and Carers
Next week we will be taking part in Sport Relief, an initiative many of you will be aware of, which aims to bring the nation together to raise money through the power of sport. Friday will be a non-uniform day with a red and/or sport theme and our sixth formers be collecting £1 donations on the gate.
Throughout the week, students are allowed to wear their own sports kit for their PE lessons. Please make sure it’s suitable for the sport they are currently taking part in and that they have the correct footwear. There will be a Sport Relief collection box in the PE department for any donations.
Our team of Sports Leaders will be running some fundraising activities throughout the week, including selling wristbands (50p+ donation) and holding a Myton Superstar sports competition for Year 7 in the Sports Hall on Thursday lunchtime.
Thank you for your support with this worthwhile – and fun – cause. All details of where the money goes are on the Sport Relief website.
With best wishes
Andy Perry – Head Teacher
