The first Training School in Warwickshire
With a commitment to sharing ideas and expertise across the local schools

There are 21 Training schools in the West Midlands. Myton was the first and still is the only Training School in Warwickshire. Myton was awarded Training School status to run, initially, from April 1st 2007, for three years. Re-designation will depend on meeting the necessary key performance indicators (KPIs) as a Training School, but also on the school’s continued recognition as a high performing specialist school (HPSS) within its first specialism, Science.

How do I become a Teacher?
If you are thinking of a career in teaching you will need to find the best training route for you, and this will depend on your current qualifications and experience. To find out more either click on the link to the West Midlands Training School Network or the Training and Development Agency for Schools TDA web site
