PROGRAMME OF EVENTS – Academic Year 2016–17

This CPD opportunity is based on the IQEA (‘Improving the Quality of Education for All.’) approach to school improvement.  Schools that subscribe to the Partnership Plus also subscribe to the belief that school improvement happens when enquiry about Teaching and Learning is at the heart of professional development.

Effective feedback and marking – become part of a research team

This is an opportunity to join a small research team (about 15 teachers; one from each school) to establish and then disseminate effective practice in marking and feedback. The aim after this initial meeting is then to conduct small scale classroom based research as part of this team in order to publish a pocket guide for Partnership Plus on this current and controversial topic.

Further information on the programme

If you feel that you would like to learn more and perhaps attend, then please contact Katie Irving for more information: irving.k@myton.co.uk

More details of each event are sent out two or three weeks beforehand. If there are changes we will let you know as early as possible. More often than not schools find themselves in a position of developing expertise in areas during the academic year and offer to add to the existing programme. Offers are always welcome and we send out an updated programme as soon as we have the information available.

Numbers are only limited where mentioned. However, there will be limits for the accommodation and evening meals available at the February 2017 residential event. The Friday evening key note speech and the Saturday workshops do not have limited spaces.
