GERMAN AQA
German A Level is essentially the same as GCSE German in that it covers the same 4 skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing – but at a more advanced level. You will normally need at least a B grade at GCSE to follow this course.
|
• the skills of reading, listening and writing are combined so that material is read or listened to and then written about.
• the candidate has personal control of the tape with a Walkman
• the speaking exam is much more spontaneous and unpredictable in terms of task types.
• the coursework is either literary or culturally based
• no dictionaries are allowed. |
• it’s fun! The topics we cover in AS are a natural extension to these topics covered at GCSE
