Warwickshire is a wonderful place to live and work. The market towns and villages fuse the magical heritage of old England with the contemporary bustle of shops, farmers’ markets and restaurants, providing vibrant hubs at the very heart of local life. It is a way of life that has thrived for centuries, creating a rich web of tales from the past – as you will find on a visit to Roman Alcester, the castles at Warwick and Kenilworth, Shakespeare’s Stratford and the Gunpowder Plot Village of Dunchurch.

warwick castleMyton School is located on Myton Road approximately one mile from Warwick town centre and two miles from Royal Leamington Spa, both of which have train stations with direct routes to Birmingham, London and the Home Counties.
Warwick is the county town, famous for its magnificent castle and historic charm. Warwick enjoys a calendar of diverse and exciting events throughout the year, including the popular Folk, Thai and Literary Festivals, as well as Retro Warwick and the renowned Victorian Evening. Warwick’s mainly independent businesses offer an enticing blend of the old and the new – from gift shops, antique centres and traditional tea rooms to fashion shops, art galleries and fine restaurants. Market Place is the heart of the town, hosting a variety of cafes, pubs and shops and a thriving market every Saturday.

Royal Leamington Spa, is named after the River Leam which flows through the town. Wide boulevards, Georgian and Edwardian architecture and expansive, award-winning parks provide a sophisticated backdrop to this Regency shopping paradise. Often described as ‘the best bits of London, all in a ten-minute walk’, Leamington town centre combines a treasure-trove of independent, specialist boutiques with all the national chains you would expect to find in a large city.
