Lunchtime Supervisors

£9.38 per hour (inclusive)
Responsible, calm and confident adults needed to create a team of Lunchtime Supervisors between 1pm and 2pm weekdays during term-time, mainly supervising students on school grounds (indoors and out) and in the dining hall over the lunchtime period.

Teaching Assistant (TA1 level)

£11,821 – £12,501 p.a (for 33 ½ hours a week during term-time)
(£15,246 – £16,123 p.a. pro-rata)
Working in a supportive role in a caring environment as a Teaching Assistant you will support the educational, personal, and social development of students with a variety of needs such as literacy, numeracy, disabilities, access or mobility needs either in the classroom or on a one-to-one basis. It can be a challenging role at times but incredibly rewarding to feel you can make a difference to the achievements of some of our young people (11 – 16 years) who need additional support and understanding.
You will be one of a large team of TAs in our Development Centre which has a great reputation for supporting students with special educational needs, disabilities, anxiety, learning barriers and multiple and complex needs, to enable them to access a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum, and to be fully included in all aspects of school life.

Hours: 33½ hours per week over 39 weeks during term-time (approximately 8.30am to 3.30pm).
Salary range: £11,821 – £12,501 p.a. (£15,246 – £16,123 p.a. pro-rata). All TA appointments are on a temporary contract, with continuation subject to annual renewal of funding.
