Ofsted monitoring visit on 19 July 2016
We are pleased to announce that, following a visit from Ofsted last term, Her Majesty’s Inspector has concluded that the leaders and governors of Myton School are taking effective action to tackle the areas requiring improvement.
As the inspector points out, we have a good school improvement plan which we are using to deliver the best possible education to all students, with no child being left behind. We are well aware that the pathway to good and outstanding is a long one with much to be done on the way, and with this destination in mind, we will continue to build on the improved practice seen by the HMI.
OFSTED Report 2016
Ofsted visited us in January. While the HMI reported many strengths including the Sixth Form and examination outcomes at GCSE, they also reported several areas which require improvement, action has been taken quickly to improve these areas. Please see the latest feedback from Ofsted.
